1. Come up with a core concept or message you want your page to say.
What do you want your first impression to be when people come across your page? Upon first glance you want to provide your viewer some insight as to who you are and what your page is about. Whether it be a photography page, personal page, or a fan account dedicated to The Jonas Brothers, it needs to have personality. Create a list of what you want to get across and refer back to it when you are creating posts.
2. Come Up With a Consistent Color Scheme
Ask yourself what colors are you drawn to / reflect your brand? If you find yourself often incorporating a lot of shades of blue in your style, then use that for creating your theme. If you enjoy the color, you're more likely to have more photos wearing it. If you take your own photos, keep an eye out in your day to day for that color when shooting. If you plan on posting other people's photos, you can search hashtags for that color to find images that go along with your theme, just be sure you give the original owner credit so that you are not copyrighting. You can also provide a filter or tint of the color as an overlay as a way of maintaining consistency. If you wish to change your color scheme, just make sure you do so gradually as not to drastically disturb your theme.
3. Arrange Your Photos Ahead of Time
Download an app that lets you arrange your photos to determine the best placement. I use and recommend the app Preview because not only is it free, it lets me arrange my photos weeks ahead of time and has many cool filters and editing features on it. As I mentioned before with filters, I always use the same filter from Preview on every photo I post so that no matter the lighting, they all look cohesive.
